Welcome to the forum,
I have a 1 1/2 year old male too, he's just starting to shed finally after rescueing him about 2 months ago. I didn't think he would ever start. How long have you had your ig? Sometimes they stop growing do to the stress of relocating. In the case of Harry it was a few things, relocation and change in diet, previous owners fed him cheese. His protein levels were extremely high when I had blood work done at the Vet. So battling not only his health condition but also being put into a new environment cause iguana's to slow their growth rate. Give him time, he'll get back up to speed. Another question comes to my mind (for you regulars......stop laughing!!) what's your diet for you ig? What kinda of setup for housing do you have?
Again welcome to the best forum online! We're a family who loves igs more then......well more then.....I just can't find anything close to how we love our igs!! Stick around this forum.....ask any question or give your 2 cents.....we love to hear anything and everything to do with igs and sometimes things that don't have to do with igs!!
Good Luck
