Spike's wanderings....

: Spike (Stewie) got out of his room yesterday. My roommate had the door to the porch open (an enclosed porch, but there are a couple of sceens/windows missing) and sure enough, Spike went onto the porch... But instead of trying to get outside, he decided to bask in the smaller cage we have on the porch! The cage is only about 5x3x2 1/2... Usually the igs will only be still enough to keep them in there for about 20 minutes. So it is surprising the went there.... : Does anyone else have a male that stops eating during mating season? If so, about how long does he stop eating? All the other male iguanas in this house eat at least a little bit during mating season.... : Also, I would like to tell all the people rescuing and adopting iguanas that they are doing a wonderful thing! : Carmen
