Welcome to the bestest ig-forum and Congratulations on being adopted by an ig!!!

"not recovering from constipation' makes no sense to *me* either!

Iggy will need some time to adjust to her new surroundings and may not have much appetite due to that too ... i wouldn't try to 'stimulate' her appetite as much as i would try to figure out what is causing it's decrease ... it's good she's drinking, you won't need to worry (too much) about dehydration) ...

i would take her in for a check-up (by a *different* vet!) and have blood work done and definitely a fecal test for parasites ... rule out any possible physical causes ...

would also recommend some diet changes ... lose the romaine, it has too little nutritional value to bother with ... cut *way* down on the fruit ... two good ig-sites with widely used diets are:

Jen Swofford:
http://baskingspot.com/iguanas/igbook/index.html

Melissa Kaplin:
http://thunder.sonic.net/~melissk/ig_care.html

(both also have good ig-husbandry info)

i've heard that igs can get very used to being hand-fed and get spoiled to where they won't eat any other way ... don't know how tru that is, just thought i'd warn ya *grin*

good luck with Iggy! keep us posted on how things are going!!!! i'm glad she found her way to someone who cares!
