I think my iguana is broke...

.. I bought a hibiscus a few weeks ago. The little handout they gave me with the bush said the blooms last 2-3 days, so I take them off and give them to Carlos while fresh. He looks at me like I'm crazy. After MUCH coaxing (rubbing it against his nose, etc) he will *finally* eat it. Granted, if I don't tear the petals apart he will eat the WHOLE thing, but.. I was under the impression he was going to be turning back-flips off the basking branch for these things? Maybe I spoil him too much by putting a whole bloom in with his morning meal about once a week - ten days?

I WOULD like to point out that the little stinker (I mean that affectionately..) has put on weight. His ribs no longer show and his tail has fattened out considerably. He's also got a beautiful green/blue cast to his skin after this last shed. I hope to have more pictures posted next week of him.
