Update on my iguanas....

I haven't posted a message recently about how my iguanas are doing.

Greensleeves is living with my mom now. Her leg, which had soft tissue damage, is now completely healed. She is climbing and jumping just like she did before. She is eating my mom out of house and home, and we are keeping an eye out just in case she will lay eggs some time.

Spike (aka Stewie since we already have an animal named Spike) is not eating yet. He did have a few bites the other day. He drinks his water and he is active and healthy. I've been getting him outside in the sun a few times a week. He is adjusting to me and not head bobbing all the time I spend with him.

Bogart is eating regularly now. We have had him for about 6 months now. He is starting to move around more and not just sitting in one place. Jim and I are still worried about the long term problems Bogart might have because of poor diet for the first 3 years of his life.

Talon and Claw are getting along well. I had thought I might have to separate them because Talon (male) was chasing Claw (female) for a day or two. But then they settled down.

Missy and Gwen are doing great, although sometimes I think Gwen could be a bit more active. Missy is now letting us handle her again. She has been a bit less tame since she laid eggs a couple of years ago.

I think that about sums it up. I just really happy that Greensleeves is better now and that Bogart is more alert and active.
