Update on the pet store crusade

Well, today I called the manager of one of the not-so-good pet stores I went to on Sunday and asked about that water dragon who was starting to rub off its face. Turned out it was a rescued dragon whose previous owner was not doing anything about the fact that the dragon was bashing its face against the side of the cage. I suggested to the manager that she put up a sign to let people know that it was rescued. She also insisted that the water bowls were changed daily, even though they didn't look that way to me. Maybe my complaint will keep the store on their toes.
Also, yesterday I went to this reptile store called Exclusively Reptiles. If anyone in the LA area wants to know where this store is, e-mail me and I'll send you the address. It's a great store! They had a huge 6-foot iguana named Bruno who roams around the store, but usually he'll be seen hanging out on the flourescent lights. My dad bought Dexter's new cage from there, and he also got my long-anticipated blue-tongued skink. She's beautiful, and practically eating me out of house and home!
And that is my rant of the day.
