I would have the person put a litter box outside on the ground around where the iguana left the apartment. Install a heating pad in the bottom with towels, if by chance the iguana is around, it might go into the litterbox for shelter and warmth. Leave a dish of Collard greens beside it.
I wish them the best finding the poor girl. May she be alright and back home soon.
