He was my cousin`s pet and when she ran away from my family`s house i would not let her have him back!she didnt have proper cageing or food or light`s for him.she had him for 3 year`s befor leaving my house, and he lived for another 8 year`s with me. he was not born in captivity so i dont really know how old he was.he got a really bad infection and by the time we cought it it was to late.( he was not in his big cage at the time, he was in a 55gal tank to help keep him warm,it was in the winter time and very cold here in boise,Idaho).
: Cham3,
: Sounds like you have a zoo going on there. Wow, I thought our 3 dogs, 3 cats, and two iguanas was enough, but you have your hands full.
: You might want to try and look on their (igs) hind legs to see if the pores are large or small. They might be still too young. Also the large scale on the lower jaw area is large in males. A large cage, as I have read, is fine for them. But if another iguana has lived in it, it should be completely cleaned, trying to get rid of the scent of the old iguana.
: Can I ask what happened to your iguana that past away? I'm always sadden to hear about igs pasting away.
: I wish you the best with your two iglets

: P.S. don't forget we have a group meeting tonight at 8:30 pm eastern time. Hope you can join us.
