: He's home that "little stinker" as the surgeon called him.
: Everything went real well.Gonna have a nice little scar to show off to all the girls at the beach this summer.Just got home about an hr ago .I got him in his enclosure all he wanted to do was eat..he was NPO (nothing by mouth) since yesterday so he was starved. He was super mean this am with me & the Dr. he kept shooing us away /kicking with his hind legs and giving me the brush off" don't rub me now you *itch!" as I held him this am. Back in 6 weeks for stitches to be taken out and progesterone shots just for a while maybe a series of three per doc. No bathing.Just gotta wait & see if all this ($500) was worth it.THANKS for all the kind thoughts and words guys! Gee this place IS starting to feel like home. You guys are the first to know :-) spsppppppppth (blowing my nose) talk amongst yourselves...
: Im exhausted...Im gonna hit the sack. You make me feel soooo good!
: Gina
glad to hear that the surgery went well. You must be sooo glad to have your baby home!
I think having the operation was a good move, having dealt with a hyperagressive male a few years back, $500 is worth the price! Having our beloved 5.5 foot male attack me on sight for 6 months was NOT my idea of a good time! Sue still has scars on her foot from his mating attempts.
Best of luck to both of you!
Dan
