That's a feud that's been going on off & on for a long time..hence my AOL post "Forums, Format & Foreplay". It takes two to tango. Melissa is NOT a GOD. I have debated issues with her about a variety of things (no where near the extent that Henry does tho). He's been breeding igs for a long time. What Melissa posts at her web site is NOT GOSPEL. I respect her and her pioneering efforts in iguana care & the fact she spent so much time on her website but she is wrong alot of times, and refuses to allow room for anyone else with an opinion or deviation in iguana care and then when challenged on some of her concepts cannot produce proof. I can go on & on with instances.I am totally disillusioned by her and other "self-proclaimed" experts in iguana care at other boards. You need to know the whole story Harry's Dad, not just jump in and make a judgement. Stay clear yes ...I'm trying to... not because of Henry's behavior so much but because of Melissa's. I expect to get alot of hate mail too!
Henry DOES NOT feed his iguanas cheese. He challenged Melissa on a statement SHE made in essence that'even a little animal protein will kill an iguana' it took off from there like a raging fire.That's why I posted these guys don't care who is affected.Oh I still refer people to her website which is terrific for anyone who DOES NOT want to think or research on their own.Its got alot of GENERAL information that is very good but is NOT GOSPEL even tho she would have you believe that it is. That's ok Ive also seen her slam the door on every concept that isn't her OWN.
that's the sad truth. I expect to get hate mail on this too. Melissa has come crashing down off the pedestal THAT I put her on. ***sigh***
