Let's look at the easiest explanation first. This has happened to me more than once when I thought "omg there's something wrong" and it turned out to be a dried, stuck on piece of food. In that case, apply something wet (cotton ball?) and keep it on it for as long as she'll let you and see if it comes off. The cream may have already started the process. You can imagine the mess we sometimes wind up cleaning off their faces when ours get Dad's homemade s'getti sauce with s'getti noodles! Once it dries..hoo, boy!

The other possibility is that she scratched herself on a basking log or on something outside during a walk in the yard. You're covered there, too, with the cream.

Thought of you this a.m. when I saw our high Thurs was 87 and the nation's low was in Idaho! Here's hoping she has something simple going on with her! I'll send you some sunshine!
