Is she about 3 years old? Many times females start egging at 3. She may have reabsorbed...don't know....provide lots of exercise for her, and a calcium supplement EVERYDAY 30-60 days POST laying. Here is Melissa Kaplan's website on egg-laying and incubation. Gestation/gravid about 60-70 days. Nestboxes can be a huge trash can/rectangular hamper taped shut with a hole cut out Here's Melissa's article its pretty good and explains alot!
