hi martin,
i know that on the side of the iguana light by zoo med it has a warning about the high level of uvb being harmful to our eyes but thats all i`ve heard as far as it being harmful to us. it just says that staring at the bulb for long periods of time can be harmful. and that you should never look directly at it or something like that. well, thats all i know on the subject....

: Does exposure to these flourescent bulbs have any effects on us humans. I have three pets, which have their lights on at least 10 hours a day. During interaction with them I was wondering if these bulbs have longterm negative effects on humans.
