I keep telling my husband we need to get one. This choping and grating everything by hand is the pits! Maybe if he had to do it he would see the light. Well, if I keep complaining I might get one for my birthday. Which, believe it or not, would be better than what I got last year. He FORGOT my birthday so I got NOTHING. And I even reminded him two days before (LOL). I love the man dearly, but he does have his shortcomings. I know! This year I'll just buy myself a birthday gift, Montgomery Wards huh?

If you plan on freezing food you should look at MK's site. She mentions the use of brewers yeast to replace the lost B vitamin. I make a couple of weeks worth at a time. I think if it is not going to be frozen for more than a month you are ok adding nothing.
