Carrie, Hibiscus are good plants that the igs can eat. Cirsisue started this because she has 25 hibiscus plants in her yard. Everyone that was on this ig forum, at the time, had one of her hibiscus plants named after their ig. My little girl, Sneakers, got a double peach hibiscus plant in Cirsisue's yard named after her. That is why you see us giving some salutation about our hibiscus plant at the end of our messages. You can also feed your ig dandelion flowers and leaves. Yes, the same ones that grow in your yard. You just have to make sure no pesticide was used on the dandelions.

As far as hibiscus' growing in Massachusetts, I don't know. I live in Idaho and I can't even find them for sale here. I think it was Harry's mom and dad that bought one that could survive in a cold weather winter state.

Joan (double peach hibiscus to you)
