Beardies are very easy to care for especially in comparison to an iguana! Sue didn't mention the crickets, tho. They need that in addition to the salad but some people have successfully turned their beardies on to Rep-Cal's pellet food for dragons + the salad. Babies & young juvies still need crickets daily. Sub adults and adults should eat crix/pellets every other day and salad offered daily. AND if you really want to explore this, Sue and I have a mutual friend that is a breeder and he & his wife have gorgeous dragons...and they're good people, too! AND kingsnake has a dragon forum for all the questions and help just like here..but, of course, Sue and I could help you where we can. I'm going to try to post a picture of some of Tom's dragons just to whip this up! I don't think he'd mind me taking the liberty...after all dragons need moms and dads, too! (If you need to do some more convincing of Dad, go to the dragon forum and click on just about ANY post made by Tom and Jackie and enjoy the picture he includes.)
