a mirror story

at our old place, we had a mirror in the hallway ... one day when iZ was roaming the apt., we had ig-enclosure building stuff like lattice leaning against the mirror ... i had to make the lattice there a permanent thing because iZ just *loved* that pretty iguana that lived on the wall! he'd come out of his enclosure and head straight for that mirror and lay there with his face against it for hours like he was snuggling with it ...!

but the mirrored doors underneath the tv cabinet are a totally different story! he *hates* *that* *bad* *lizard* that lives there!!!! (i finally removed the mirrored doors! he'd get so violently aggressive towards *every* one + thing)

all i could think of is that he had no respect for an ig that would actually *live* on the ground ... he spent weeks after i removed the mirrors, looking for that bad ig and making sure he was gone!

he doesn't have his friend on the wall anymore cuz i'm scared to risk it ... think it might have been that he was so young at the time and it was before he went thru puberty ... i've got a cool pic of his snuggling with the mirror tho that i'll have to post (*some day*)
