At the chat room the other night I mentioned meeting a lady that has just started coming to our church who is an ig person,( a miracle!) well her son works at a pet shop, so we went down there the other day to check it out, & get some supplies. They had the hugest female iguana in the front window...I think she's been there for years...not for sale, just for show...anyway, they have a lot of funny ideas about iguanas..one thing tho- their igs were 25 dollars each, which I think is good...at least they weren't selling them for 2.99! I didn't see any greens in their cages...just dry food and some unidentifiable veggies.It was almost closing time, tho. They had 2 babies, and that one big one.
Anyway, I thought about passing on all the info from different places that I've been printing out since Cleo's arrival...just as a friendly jesture...and hopefully they will use it to keep better care of their igs. They said they got one in that had been abused and it's back was broken :o(
But they gave it to a guy who they know, that knows igs, so maybe it will be OK. They were very friendly, and I do think they want to do their best for their animals, So I'll just politely pass on my care pages, and hope they need something to read!!
