They have ingested junk like dirt & sand & bugs (not volkswagens) things like that...but so far no
problems they're curious about it...won't kill em...they don't eat weird stuff (pica) habitually. I don't use it as substrate where alot of impaction type problems seem to occur lack of excercise doesn't help move that junk out of their gut in situations like that IMNSHO
Mostly common sense , experimenting, reading, they SEEM to be ok.
