: Hi Tim,I'm none of the people above but I'll try and help you out.NO dog food or cereal,there are two excellent sites to get all you ig info.Melissa Kaplans and Jean Swoffards are the sites.Try putting in an old t-shirt of yours in the cage so your iggy can ge use to your scent.Try and wear a t-shirt that you've worn while holding him for a couple of days so his scent is on you.That and slow movements,calm voice and patients along with time will tame your little guy down.Try hand feeding him his favorite foods but be careful that he doesn't miss and get ahold of your fingers.Good luck and keep us informed.
