: Re lighting: think she said she preferred the
vita-light? Said that zoo-med made 2 lights but
they were virtually the same just different
packaging?

: Re sand: Said that it was probably something in
the sand making an interesting smell that was
attracting Cirsi to it. (I sooo wanted to say
"dog pee?" but didn't dare crack a joke LOL)

: Now for some insight that just flashed across my
meager brain.....ever hear that really high pitch
noise that can sometimes come off lights (usually
if about to go out? Wonder if iZ is hearing this
sometimes and it aggravates him? It does me! LOL
Just a thought.

I'm still sitting here in awe but the room was a flutter with questiions and answers.I agree that the smell must have something to do with Cirsis eating dirt,,could it be dead hibiscus or our yard full of dandilions??Didn't even think of smells makeing her want to eat sand.We have a tar and gravel roof and tiny white pebbles that wash off after rain, our monitor thinks their eggs and tried to eat them.Maybe we need to do more yard proofing.
