my iguanas food was always very finely chooped as well, but he had developed bad eating habits from his previous owners. they fed him all leafy greens so he doesn`t like anything else now. he eats great now becausse i stopped feeding him the mk diet and am using jen swoffords diet theories now. it works much better for him because the diet is based on leafy greens instead of veggies like mk`s. don`t get me wrong mks diet is great, but for petrie i`ve just had more success with jens. when i was feeding the mk diet tho, i would use the baby food to stick the salad to the back of his leaves that way he would have to eat the salad no matter what!! it worked great, but it was very time consuming to ahve to prepare his food like that every time he ate which was a few times a day. he seems to enjojy eating more now anyways. before he would still only eat when he hadn`t for a few days and was too hungry to not eat. now it seems like he enjoys his food a little more. thanx for posting

: Sneakers will eat all her salad because everything is grated or chopped finely then mixed together. There is no way she can get a bite of green without also getting a bite of squash, parnips, green beans, alfalfa and many other things. I don't know anything about baby food. Only what people have stated here. Maybe chop or grate everything into little pieces and put some of Petrie's favorite baby food on it and mix it all up. Sneakers used to not like the alfalfa. We crush the pellets and I sprinkle it on then mix. I slowly increased it. Now she doesn't seem to mind. Lately she has been cleaning her plate.
