: Hi Martin,

: Lola's cage has a UV light hanging over where she lays and at the other side is a ceramic heater( 150 watt ). Her laying area is a shelf halfway up the cage just above the bottom of the Plexaglass. The shelf is covered in indoor/outdoor grass carpeting(brown) which I installed snaps on, so I could change out the carpeting with a new one when she does something, she'd NOT suppose to do!! LOL (rarely does she) I have a few branched that go from the bottom of the cage to the upper area so she can climb down or up when she wants. I also have a vent on the top of the cage, this could be made to be adjusted so to allow air exchange in the upper area. I have some ideas on heated water for environmental heating of the cage...but they are still in the development stages. I think I will be looking at this system when we get a larger encloser for both iguanas. Right now we keep the room temperature at 80 degrees using baseboard heat! $$$. At night we turn it down to around 72 degrees, this maintains an average cage environment of around 87 to 92 degrees, leaving the ceramic heater to make any more adjustments she may need in the area (range there is around 98 degrees) Hope this helps ya some. If I get the plans figured out for the water heating system I'll let everyone know here.

: Just another iggy bud!!!
