This Iguana is obviously not content with the laying site you have provided.Often, with both snakes and Iggs,I will go through a few nesting boxes trying to please the individual animals' needs. With Iguanas however,I have narrowed it down(in my group)to the full size garbage can, filled about half way with loose sand, and layed on it's side, with an opening cut in the lid to allow only enough room for the girl to fit through, and on occasion I have sealed the Igg inside to get her motivated.Egg binding can be directly associated with lack of excercise during gestation. If you don't see Egg binding as a possibility for your Igg,then try a new laying site. You may also want to place a (human) heat mat below the garbage can on a high setting...temp.'s are very important in the consideration of a laying site for Green Iguanas(and most other herps). All for now, good luck.
