In an extreme situation you could also put your reptiles in your car or van and leave the car running with the heat on. Plenty of gas (gas can) for longer situations. Make sure if you have more than one you separate them somehow (obviously)and put only the ones that are the most fragile to cold temperatures out first. Some reptiles can survive much longer than others.
Anyways, that was just an idea.

Ps. it never hurts to put a cold Ig into a warm tub. As long as it is not a huge change in temperature (shock).
: First what do you guys do when you have power outages to keep iggy's warm?? In the last week we have had two wiht more storms on there way im afraid there will be more. We live in a trailer so a backup generator is out. ALso if you iggy gets cold is it a good idea to put them in a warm bath to warm them up? Will putting them in a warm bath when they are cold cause them to end up sick?? My hubby thinks that I did a big no no as after our last power outage Double D got cold and I put her in the tub to warm her up he was afraid id make her sick.
