We got a Hewlett Packard Scanjet 5200C. We bought it at Costco for about $280. It really does a good job. Just put the pic on the scanner, then you can send it to any graphic program, to the printer, or to a specific file format. It came with the graphics program Adobe Photoshop. In adobe I can sharpen the image and cut away excess parts of the photo that I don't want. You can also put text on the picture.

You can buy photo quality paper and reprint your own pictures. I've been having a lot of fun.
