: I'm totally amazed at how they look, would love to have a chance to raise one. When I get our scanner next week I'll post a pic of it and one of a Spiny Tail too. To my understanding four zoo's are raising Fiji iguanas in the US: Cincinnati, Dallas, Fresno, and San Diego. Has anyone been to any of those zoo's and seen these iguanas? You can't mistake them for any other igs, Males are Blue-Banded green but females ( like always ) are just plain green (no offense ladies) they are a Pacific Island iguana...Fiji & Tonga...where ever those places are LOL.
: But I still love Harry....less his teeth!!!! It wouldn't of been that bad but I pulled away in surprise...THAT'S a No No....what could of been just little holes...are now long cuts on my finger. Mom says he was just hungry is all...I'm not too sure.

: Signin off for the nite....Have a Great evening you late niters!
Unfortunately, these Fiji Island iguanas are an endangered species. If my sources are up-to-date. Captive breeding projects at zoos have just recently been proven to be successful. Once again, if my sources are up-to-date.
But these guys ARE beautiful. If they ever make it to the pet trade, I'd give an arm and a leg to raise one!
