well, the dragon made a darn good attempt at taking my arm off tonight ... he's been an a deep, dark *orange* mood all week .... *sigh* .... one night, i went up to get him off his basking log and he sideways postured so hard that he almost fell off the log ... tonight i went up to get him and he *lunged* at me ... didn't even bother to threaten and posture first! (how rude!) i had just gotten home and had both a long sleeve shirt on *and* a sweatshirt with rolled up cuffs and that saved me ... he got 3 layers of cloth instead of my wrist ... whew! it was kinda funny tho cuz since he got cloth instead of me, i didn't react and the dragon just didn't know *what* to do! so he calmed down ....

i thought this mating season crap was over! plus ... he just got done shedding a couple weeks ago and now he's starting over *again*! i also thought these growth spurts of his were done too! *sigh* it's been a grouchy orange week around here ... thank goodness it's the weekend!
