Welcome Wendy,

One of the first things if you own a iguana is that wax worms are not a good diet for them. With a SVL of only 4" details will probably be lacking. If it is a iguana you can check Melissa Kaplan's site for almost anything to do with iguana's ( I've included the link to her site) I would suggest you either take pictures of your lizard and then search in your area for a professional herpetologist that would help indentify the species for you.
