: Hi! More recent photos of my girl Louie....previously many of you advised removing the pine from the cage. These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago and the pine is still there in the pics, but it has all been removed since then and replaced with newspaper, so son't freak out over the pine (LOL)! :) The UV light is there, too but you can't see it because it is a black fixture, and frankly, my camera is pretty low quality and doesn't pick up detail all that well. Anyway...enjoy..I'm so proud of my Lou!

Well, I see some of my captions did not come through. The pic of Louie "escaping" was taken as she was escaping in front of my very eyes! She had been getting out before and I couldn't figure out how...she's just getting stronger I suppose! In the pic "mischief", I followed her "escape route" and watched as she climbed up my very "not-iguana-proof" shelf (i.e, the case strap, walkman wires, etc) to wedge herself between my keyboard and top desk shelf. I can say this wa not a good position for her to be in , and could easily get hurt. My entire apartment is probably very dangerous and that is why I try to keep her in the cage. Since then I have relatched the bottom of the cage with a hook latch and it has been effective. I hope that pic doesn't offend anyone...I had to take it because she had been getting out and I had no idea how. Of course, after Louie escapes, my entire apartment is usually in shambles and it is a surprise that she hasn't gotten into trouble this far. Anyway, just wanted to explain, have a great evening all!
