Green coloring & sunbaths ?

Unfortanely iguana sunbaths here in Stockholm are restricted to the summer middays,
from May to August. From mid June to mid August I guess one could have iguanas in a outdoor-
cage 24 hours a day. I live in a flat, so in the summer I normally put Liz and Rex under
supervision on the balcony-table for half an hour or so every other day.
Otherwise I have each basking station equipped with double ZooMeds Iguana Lights
UVB 5.0 (36") on close distance turned on 12 hours a day. Of course I do not know if
that makes them more green... :)

Coloring and genetics ?

I do not know from what part of the world my iguanas are. They have however what I think
an unusual colored iguana Dad (as you see from photo included). I hope I can get in contact
with the pet shop/private german breeder from where I bought them in the near future and ask
them. It would certainly be fun to know.
