I know about the GreenIgSociety. That's where I got My Wonderful Guy. I was gonna tell him about them this week. I'm in Orange County, NY. If you know of any good rescues by me, PLEASE tell me. Names and Numbers would be very much appreciated so I can just hand them to him..... Thanks for you help and advice. :D
:I have been where you are many times and I also feel the same way. I would have many more igs if my hubby died tomorrow lol I find it amazing though that once you get to feeding cleaning etc...vet bills..My hubby is right...I have 4 igs here now and we dont need any more...the want is there but my man keeps me in control hehe...You might want to see if there is some way you help him find a knowledgeable home for his ig or tell him to post online like at greenigsociety.org...great adoption website...Where are you located? I have some people I know who do rescue...Lyn

::Today at work I was offered another Iguana. From what the guy was telling me, It belongs to His kid who went to college. The animal is between 5 and 6 feet. He/She (Don't know the gender) Comes with it's LARGE wood Cage and everything. Didn't ask about lighting and diet. Just said I'd talk to my parents. They said no. I know in My Head they're right. I know in My Head I just don't have the room for another large Lizard. But I still feel like crap for not taking it.... My mom tells me I can't rescued or adopt EVERY animal in need. I just can't. No room, no time, no money. Has anyone else ever gone through this? How did you deal with it? I feel like crap for not being able to help it. I feel horrible That I have to turn My back on the Poor Ig. How do I deal with this? How can I turn My back on it?
