I'd hate to see you return one of the igs to the pet store. That would practically be a death sentence for the little guy. The next buyer might not do their research like you are now. However, there are some iguana rescue organizations. Some of them will take the ig off your hands. Others will want you to keep the iguana while they list it on their adoption site. You then get the final say on who adopts your iglet. Check out www.greenigsociety.org if you're interested in that option.
PS: Never listen to advice given from a pet store.
