Unfortunately, no, you have to keep the ReptiSun. Although the sun coming in through the window will help keep the room heated, it will not provide UV. Glass effectively blocks almost all the UV rays in the sunshine. Someone on this forum (Mr. D I think) actually measured the amount of UV after sunlight was filtered through things like glass and window screen without glass. Glass blocks it just about completely, and even the plain old screen blocks a whole lot of UV, so that you'd still need to keep your ReptiSun or some kind of UVB bulb.

:Spot is in there now. We set up the heat light and reptisun light and a 5' tall fake tree. So far spot loves the tree LOL:) What can be done with the lighting. Is the reptisun light needed now that Spot runs free. The window get a great deal of light in it cant I just pack up the UV light now?
