When you raise an iguana as a member of the family and he completely trusts you he becomes VERY affectionated! You must see the sweet eyes Zombie gives me!!!

:You seem to be a very good ig mom!!!
::Your baby must be very happy to have you!
:Actually, the woman you saw in the photo is my wife, the Ig Mommy. I'm the Ig Daddy, (thus my user name, ig_daddy). We are very happy to have her! Before we got Iggi, I never would have used the words "Playful" and "Affectionate" when talking about a reptile. When we got Iggi, we didn't know how to raise an iguana, so we raised her like a human child. Two years have passed, and as far as human daughter's go, she still looks like an iguana, but as IGUANA'S go, she acts like a human daughter! I think that Melissa Kaplan needs to rewrite the portion of her book where she says that the only affection your iguana will give you is to sneeze in your ear.
