Iguanas are much more closely related to anoles than to geckos. Maybe your ig is reacting to the anole kind of like it was an ig, and feels territorial. He must not feel that your gecko is any competition, though, so they can be friends. :-) That's my theory anyway. (I mean the part about your igs feelings is my theory; that igs are much more closely related to anoles is real.)
