: Sometime today I'm going out and getting some top soil and some hibiscus plants and maybe some roses. Now the odds are VERY high that I'll wind up killing all of them. Will be planting them in an area we prepared Friday that gets full sun for a long period of time during the day (when its sunny that is). I want to use these flowers for the reptiles. So my question is do I not fertilize/feed these plants? I know not to spray the blooms and let them take their chances with nature. If anything survives me, do I feed the flower when it is about the fade and drop off or give them the good ones? I have one hibiscus plant that a friend gave me last year. It bloomed once. It is in a pot on the porch; I'm going to plant it in the ground. I've managed to keep it alive for a year which is a real record for me LOL Dang thing wouldn't bloom again, tho. Suggestions are welcomed!

As you now we have hibiscus,,,well we do fertilize them once a year. They get watered nd rain often so it's usualy a monthor so before we feed them fresh to the kids as they bloom and also the leafs.Good luck and red doubles to you.
