The reason i asked about the mint cause my wife game him some and he seem to like it but I couldn't find anything on it as well so I told her not do it again hehe..

********************************************
::1) I looked it up in Hatfields book. He doesn't specifically mention chewing motions but basically says they don't open their mouth unless there is a reason. If he's not panting from overheating then he is probably showing nervousness or aggression.
::2) I've heard of a couple people giving it as treats I haven't really found it on the good or bad food list so unless someone else here has other info it's probably okay for once in a while but not regularly.
