I beg to differ. I received the first bite to send me for sutures last year and it was a smaller female iguana that inflicted it. I only had 7 sutures but it was right over the knuckle on my thumb and took quite a while to heal because of the constant movement. I handle large monitors, Tegus, snakes, and iguanas on a daily basis and don't consider myself weak at all. Most iguana bites are a result of carelessness. I've seen many serious iguana bites. Do a search and I'm sure you'll change your mind.
