Thanks for the response! I just caught him at the Gatorade dish, so that's a good sign. He's nice and toasty, we have a "pet room" that stays at about 85 during the day, and I've got a UVB light on him, I'll give him a heat lamp when it cools down at night. I can't tell how recent the injury is, a day or two before we got him is my best guess... what's interesting is the back of the tail, after the injury, is still "fleshy", so I'm hoping that means blood is flowing to the end of the tail and it can be salvaged. My vet isn't in until Monday... grr... it's sadly difficult to find vets with experience in reptile care here. I just set the dish of yogurt/greens/fruit in with him, so I'll give you an update tomorrow on how well that went over! In good news, he did poop earlier today, and it looks as normal as iguana poop can!
