Thanks for those references! I'll have to go see the movies just for the iguanas. It is kind of funny about all the iguanas I've noticed in shows and movies from around the 1990's. It supports(or maybe contributed to) all the stats I've seen about iguanas being the in thing back then. I watched The Terminator the other week, and noticed, THERE'S AN IGUANA in there! His name is Pugsley!
I annoyed my boyfriend by bemoaning poor lil' Pugsley's inadequate enclosure, and the fact that he probably gets destroyed along with Sarah Conners' roommate. Where DOES he go, after all? He's not with her when she rides off into Mexico at the end. I started to feel like she deserved all the stuff that happens to her!
Then there's the episode of Star Trek: Next Generation, I think the episode is called "Evolution". Data's cat "Spot" devolves into a iguana. Ha! I think he's cuter as an iguana than a cat, anyway.
