My iguana Randi has started shedding again, he slowed down during the winter, but when his spikes began to shed I noticed they were soft, almost as if they shed too soon. Two days later they shriveled up halfway and two more spikes have the same problem. I'm almost positive it's not a problem with his diet, the lizard eats like a King (collard, papaya, kiwi, green beans, the works) but I don't know what else it could be. I was thinking a calcium deficiency, though I'm more used to that being associated with MBD. Any ideas? His spikes were so nice!
