I chop a lot of greens and shred a lot of veggies, that's for sure (18 GGI's, 9 Cyclura, and 3 BD's all eating salads). Unfortunately I've yet to find a food processor that chops greens to my satisfaction. I still stem and chop my greens by hand in two sizes, smaller pieces for smaller lizards and larger pieces for the bigger guys and gals. It takes me about an hour to stem and chop enough for 2 days. I keep the greens in Rubbermaid sweater boxes that have about 10-12 small holes drilled in the sides. This method will keep chopped greens fresh for about a week. Veggies I wash, peel, seed and run thru the shredder blade on my food processor. I can process enough for 3-4 days in a short amount of time. I'm sure the lizards would eat the food regardless of how I prepared it but I just prefer these methods. Have a nice day!!
