Thats sounds like a good idea. I figured out a way to help at my local pet store and so far it has been going pretty well. I talked to the owner(because I am a frequent customer), and I discussed with him my concern over the well being of the igs. Luckily for me I have a caring pet store owner. He simply didn't know about what to feed iguanas, proper habitat needs, and such. For three weeks I made up a salad(ig salad that is), and brought it to the store for him to feed the igs. Then I made a lsit of the food I used in it and showed him how it wasnt much more expensive than the lettuce mixture he was feeding them. Within those three weeks his igs were starting to look great. Then I addressed another problem, customers. I went home and typed up an informational sheet with information about caring for igs, their size, tempers, food needs, heat and lighting needs, and overall costs. Now every customer that buys an ig is given this sheet. It may not save all of these igs' lives, but I am confident it is helping!
