I haven't used the ProMist. It sounds interesting, but could probably be bought a lot cheaper from a floral products supplier or some other indoor or outdoor garden products retailer that needs to have a regulated misting system - for indoor tropical plants, orchids, etc.
I use a Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier ($32.95 from Walmart)along a L shaped plastic Plumbing elbow to futher direct the mist. There is one of these per enclosure (five). The humidifiers are plugged into in-cage outlets that are governed by timers on the outside. So I can program them for time of time and length of misting. I also like the ability to regulate the volume of mist via the controls on the humidifier. And, of course, the fact that the whole set up cost less than $50 ( since I just spent over $500 on Everjoy heating panels)
