I think the brown under his arms is just normal coloring. My ig had them from the day I got her, and kept them til she turned brownish-orange.. now the marks are sorta blackish color.. so I think that is one thing you don't have to worry about.
Can't really tell for sure, but his back does look like it has scars.. maybe from the other ig scratching him?
Well other than looking thing, he looks ok. Hope he fattens up quickly for you!
