Thats depends on the temperature.If its around 80, you can put the cage in the sun.If its around 85, put half of the cage in the shadow.If its more than 90 put 3/4 of the cage in the shadow and be careful.If its more than 95 put the whole cage in the shadow and dont let your ig too much time outdoors.Igs can overheat very easily!

:The weather is finally starting to get warm and I am looking
:forward to Beanie soaking up some rays :). Her outside
:habitat will be made from wood and wire for maximum air movement
:but where should I place it? In the shade or directly in the
:sun with some of the cage covered? She will only be out when
:I am home to watch her as I have kids in my neighborhood.
