I am under the impression that the wetness is just oozing the body does to get the bad things out such as infection. I would check to see what color the ooze (wet) is. I think I would worry about infection first since it can spread. Maybe a antibiotic topical. I am clearing not sure on this, just thinking when my kids get hurt and it oozes I put that on it, and dont let the scab become dry but rather let it stay pliable and moist for less scarring. But that is a person rather than in iguana.
:Ooops, i dont know how wet grangrene looks like.Zombie's spots are always wet but i thought it was the skin that cant heal because the flesh doesnt have enough minerals, vitamins, proteins, whatever, to heal.

::Do you think it could be wet gangrene? That could have developed from burns, or from bad shed. He's such a little cutie, though.
::I see little ones like him all the time, when I go around trying to find pet stores I can shop at (i.e., ones that don't sell iguanas). I always leave depressed; I can't have any more animals for quite a while. I am glad you rescued him.
::Oh, that reminds me- I'll post about my trip to Today's Pet, in the Annapolis Mall.
