Update on Hercules

I had a vet appointment scheduled for Saturday but when I got to the beltway it was completely backed up. It was going to take me nearly two hours when it should only take about an hour. I called the vet and they didn't have any openings so I had to reschedule for Tuesday.
He is doing really well though. He still has the three staples and it looks like the skin is healing nicely around the staples. He is eating well. I have also taken to giving him 6cc's of water every other day by mouth. Since I started doing that his uriates look so much better. They are less orange and now pretty much white. I think he was dehydrated even though his food is misted and water is offered.
Thats it for now.
