yep, a lot of people do think theyre so cute..well, not everyone. my brothers friends mom was over a few weeks ago and Zeph was basking under uv on the rocking chair, and she started telling me (in a normal conversation tone, to my face) what an ugly, ugly, ugly creature Zeph was. i didnt know what to say so i said yeah, uh thanks. your nice comments are really appreciated. she was like well no not you deary, youre such a pretty- i interupted her to let her know Zeph was my baby. she said well he is very ugly....she has no idea how rude she was?i said a few more sarcastic phrases but couldnt see how she thuoght i wouldnt care. (i adotped 2 goldfish from her last summer, they were both in a 5g and now theyre 2 of my 6 in a 75g...theyre more then tripled in size..but she wouldnt let me have the 5g setup& filter because it was "expensive" to buy...she was going to get rid of the fish, anyway) off track here lol though. my friends all know what a sweetie Zeph is, but we joke about him eating my homework and fingers. they also know that im not joking and have seen my arms..lol. if more people were aware that they get big and potentially dangerous and certainly pricey, then maybe not so many would end up dead ..
